About

Denis Boudreau was born in 1941 in Portland, Maine and studied geology at St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia.

Drafted into the Army in 1967, he served in Viet Nam, receiving two Purple Hearts.  After his discharge, Denis enrolled in Concept School of Visual Arts, concentrating on painting and sculpture.

In 1985 Denis was diagnosed with glaucoma, which eventually rendered him permanently blind, although he continues to work on abstract paintings.

For many years Denis has exhibited his work in multiple group and one-man shows. His work can be found in public and private collections throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe.
